Flying Fishes Flying Wishes

The Flying Fish was the Animal given to me by my Guides for my logo.  To the eye, this channeled logo is a little bit Fish, a little bit Butterfly, a little bit Bird, a little bit Mermaid, a little bit Angel and a little bit Dragon!  It carries vibrations of land and sea, space, air and flight, ability and movement.  Behind the MetaHybrid image is the 6 pointed Star, the Merkaba, and my personal Sacred Symbol, the Dragon's Eye, facing outward.   All of these elements are essential parts of my Soul Offering and message.

When in Training with my Master Guide, he often signs with the encouraging 'Fly fish fly!' This has been for years.  So when it came time to ask Spirit for assistance with a logo, my Guide pointed me back through journal entries and channeled messages where he had said this and drawn a fish in the air.

Sometimes, I'm really slow.  One day I was staring at the little fish wondering how I (a pisces) could fly, how a fish would fly (how can that be natural anyway?) when BECAUSE IT'S A FLYING FISH DUHHH came from my Guide loud and clear, and all the gears clinked into place and the bells sounded.  DUH indeed!  (The Human Vessel finally got the message).  It was beautiful and perfect and exactly me, it's truth ringing through my bones and singing in my marrow.  I am a Flying Fish.

So, I began to learn about my Kin and was immediately buzzing with what I found:

The Flying Fish- Shooting Star of the Sea (!!)

Flying fish reside in the Epipelagic Zone, what is known as the "sunlight zone" because it is where most of the visible light exists.  Seriously can't get more symbolic from the start!  Nearly all primary production, or photosynthesis, happens in this zone.  Therefore, the vast majority of plants and animals inhabit this area and can vary from plankton to the sharks. Due to the vast variety of organisms, high numbers of prey and predation relationships exist. Welcome to Earth.  🙂

About 64 species of Flying Fish (Exocoetidae) are grouped in 7 to 9 genera. While they cannot fly in the same way as a bird does, flying fish can make powerful, self-propelled leaps out of water where their long wing-like fins enable gliding for considerable distances above the water's surface. This uncommon ability is a natural defense mechanism to evade predators. Plus it means they can, for a short while, FLY.

Flying fish have evolved to gain unique traits to better adapt to their environments. By becoming airborne, flying fish evade their predators. This increase of speed and maneuverability is a survival advantage to flying fish when compared to other species in their environment.  Plus, it's FUN.  It has also been proposed that becoming airborne is not solely a predator evasion technique, as flying fish have been observed jumping from the water in the absence of predators.  Because it's FUN!  Theories including energy saving and introduction to food-rich environments have also been suggested. But really, it's because they can, and it's FUN.

The curved profile of the "wing" is comparable to the aerodynamic shape of a bird wing.  The fish is able to increase its time in the air by flying straight into or at an angle to the direction of updrafts created by a combination of air and ocean currents. They can spend up to 45 seconds in flight at heights of 20 feet above the sea!  Traveling an average of 43mph! At the end of a glide, they fold their pectoral fins to re-enter the sea, or drop their tails into the water to push against the water to lift for another glide, possibly changing direction.

Flying Fish feed mainly on plankton. Predators include dolphins, tuna, marlin, birds, squid, and porpoises.  Lastly, Flying Fish are sometimes seen accidentally landing inside boats or other vessels.  Now, isn't that just like a Shooting Star? ❤️

Fly fish, fly!
